My hours are different on Google, Yelp and my website

It's one of the most common problems we find: the hours on Google, on Yelp, on Facebook and on the website don't match, most often for weekends and evenings. A customer who sees "closed" in one place doesn't check the others. They call the next business.

Why it happens

hours were changed in one place and not the others; holiday or seasonal hours were never switched back; an old listing was made by someone else; or an app copied old hours from somewhere.

What to do, in one sitting

  1. Write your real hours once, including weekends, evenings and the days you're closed.
  2. Update Google first, then your website, then Yelp, Facebook, Apple Business Connect and Bing Places.
  3. Add holiday hours on Google before each holiday, and remove them after.
  4. Search your business name on your phone and check each place again the next day.

Usually the first one they see, which is most often Google. That's why Google goes first.

Google changed my hours by itself. Why?

Google sometimes accepts suggested edits from the public or its own systems. Sign in once a month and check for suggested changes.

Can you fix all of them for me?

Yes. Quick fixes start at $30.
