Customer Acquisition Diagnostic
Why are the right potential customers not finding or choosing the business? A useful answer begins with what people can actually see and do.
Discovery is only the first step
Potential customers may discover a business through search, maps, reviews, referrals, directories, social profiles, or the business’s own website. Being visible does not mean the right person understands the offer, location, availability, or fit.
Sylvania looks for public information that helps a customer recognize a relevant option and compare it with alternatives. The aim is not more attention at any cost. It is clearer progress for the people the business is equipped to serve.
What can block progress before first contact?
Common obstacles include unclear services, inconsistent hours, missing location details, a phone number that is hard to find, an uncertain service area, unanswered questions, conflicting claims, weak trust signals, or no obvious way to call, request, book, visit, or buy.
A diagnostic connects these observations carefully. A visible obstacle may plausibly discourage contact, but that is not the same as proving why a particular person left.
What public evidence can show
Public evidence can establish what appears in search, what the business says, whether key information agrees across sources, whether customer actions work, and what questions or concerns appear repeatedly in public comments.
It can support or weaken a concern. It cannot prove customer motivation, lost revenue, or that advertising, SEO, or a new website is the correct answer.
What requires owner information or deeper investigation?
The owner may need to confirm which customers are a good fit, which services matter most, whether the business has capacity, how inquiries are handled, and what happens after contact. Those facts can materially change the diagnosis.
A Sylvania Deeper Review is appropriate when one acquisition question needs owner context and stronger evidence. The broader diagnostic overview explains how acquisition connects with retention and loss.
