Who has the keys to your business online?
When something goes wrong, the first question is "who can log in?" Answer it now, while nothing is broken. Write the answers on one page and keep it somewhere safe.

The checklist
- Google Business Profile: which email owns it? Is there a second owner?
- Website: who can log in? Where is it hosted, and who pays for it?
- Domain (your web address): in whose name is it registered? When does it renew? Is auto-renew on?
- Business email: who controls it? If that person leaves, can you still get in?
- Facebook, Instagram, Yelp, Apple and Bing: which email manages each?
- Payments for all of the above: which card, in whose name?
Red flags
an account only a former employee or a relative can open; a domain in your designer's name; a renewal tied to an expired card.
Questions owners ask
Why does the domain matter so much?
If it expires, your website and your email can stop working on the same day.
Can I do this myself?
Yes. That's why it's free. Most owners finish in 10 minutes.
Can you check it with me?
Yes. Start with the free check, or call (224) 369-4969.
