BUSINESS OWNER QUESTIONS

Where am I losing customers?

Customer loss can happen before contact, during an inquiry, at booking or purchase, after delivery, or when someone considers returning.

Look across one connected journey

Follow how people find the business, understand the offer, decide whether to trust it, make contact, choose, buy, receive the work, and return. A break at one point may be caused by information or expectations established earlier.

Identify the stopping point without inventing the reason

Public evidence may reveal contradictions, missing information, broken actions, or visible friction. The owner’s records and customer facts may be needed to establish frequency, cause, and business effect.

What to check

  • Discovery: can suitable customers find accurate information?
  • Understanding and trust: can they judge the offer, fit, and next step?
  • Contact and purchase: do calls, forms, booking, visits, and buying work?
  • Delivery and return: are expectations met, concerns handled, and future steps clear?

A simple example

A customer may find the business, understand the offer, and submit a request successfully, but never receive a response. Another business may lose people before contact because its hours conflict across listings. Both involve customer loss, but at different points.

What this can and cannot prove

A connected review can identify where the visible path becomes unclear, broken, or inconsistent. It cannot automatically prove why every customer stopped or how much business was lost. Internal response, booking, sales, and repeat-customer records may be needed.
